There are three mobile providers in Switzerland:

• Swisscom Mobile : first mobile company in Switzerland, it covers 99% of the population [http://www.swisscom-mobile.ch]
• Orange : covers 98% of the population [http://www.orange.ch]
• Sunrise : covers 98% of the population [http://www.sunrise.ch]

You can easily get pay-as-you-go cards with the 3 providers by going to mobile shops (Natel). It is mandatory to have an ID card or passport to be able to purchase a sim card.
