There have once again been drastic changes made to the Covid rules in many countries. Governments are ready to relax Covid restrictions and usher in a lifestyle almost similar to pre-pandemic days. But have we seen the last of masked people, social distancing and vaccine passports yet?
This month we covered a mixed of COVID related topics, along with others. You can read about the Latest Covid Rules for Europe and the remaining risks with mandatory quarantine requirements still very much in place for international visitors who test positive to COVID-19 while travelling (as you will see in our article, Spain has started offering free COVID insurance in order to kickstart tourist arrivals). On the other side of the world, Australia's Prime Minister offers free visas to international student, in a bid to attract foreign students back to the country's universities.
To escape Covid, you will read why Nordic countries are often ranked high in quality of life and how to set up in the Netherlands as a young non-EU expat.
In Muslim countries, weekends occur often around Fridays, which is a holy day in Islam (Thursday-Friday or Friday-Saturday). However, have you heard that the Emirates have decided to switch their weekends to Saturday-Sundays, to align more with the majority of countries for economic reasons.
Last but not least, we will study the Spanish property market, wondering whether there is any reason to worry about another real estate bubble.
