Challenges of international moves in 2022
The previous two years have been an unprecedented period for the populations around the world. International moving companies have been at the forefront fo deal with challenging situations, with some goods blocked abroad or families having to return home and move away in emergency.
2022 was meant to be a return to normal (or a "new" normal as many would say) but removal companies are still struggling with the limited workforce and the lack of fret containers. Many of them are still stuck in China due to continuous disruption created by the Country's zero Covid policy. Chinese local authorities are still forcing into lockdown 65 million people in September, while the rest of the world has decided to "live" with the virus.
And who could have planned that a major conflict would start this Spring with the war in Ukraine? Thanks to our partner, we had the opportunity to interview the Sales Manager for AGS operations in Ukraine. He explained the way they are coping with the current situation and the challenges they are facing to still process international removals for their clients.
We have compiled a series of articles about international moves that we have published during the year, with some advice from our partner, AGS Movers.
